BODMAS Questions for class 5- Here first question stands what does BODMAS stand for ? Here is the answer- 

           B stand for Bracket , example- (), {}

           O  for order or power, example- (53)

           D stands for Division , example- (÷)

           M is for Multiplication, example- (X)

           A is for Addition, example- (+)

           S for Subtraction, example – (-)

Solved BODMAS Questions for class 5 with answers 

1.  4 x 50 +57 -47 ÷ 47

Answer-  4 x 50 +57 -47 ÷ 47

= 4×50+57 -1………(performing division first)

=200+57-1…………..( performing multiplication)

= 257-1…………………(performing addition )

= 305

2. 4+2+4+8 ÷ 4 

Answer-  4+2+4+8÷ 4  

=4+2+4+2…………(solving division)

= 12

3. 88+[20 x { 20-(10 ÷5) }] 

Answer-  88+[20 x { 20-(10 ÷5) }] 

= 88+[20 x { 20-2 }]……….(Solving the small brackets)

=88+[20 x 18]…………………(removing braces)

=88+360…………………………..( performing multiplication)

=448

(4.) 10 x 7 +[400 ÷ {100-(50-overline{3times 10})}] 

Answer- 10 x7 +[400 ÷ {100-(50-overline{3times 10})}]
= 10 x 7 +[400 ÷ {100-(50-30)}]……(removing bar)
= 10 x 7 +[400 ÷ {100-20}]…………..(removing small brackets)

Answer- 7-[16-{12+18÷(9-3)}]
