Seven arrested in Delhi’s Janakpuri for duping over 200 job aspirants

A gang of seven people arrested for running a froud placement agency in Janakpuri (west Delhi). Police arrested them for duping job over 200 people. A raid held on Monday at placement agency office at Janakpuri and gang members were identified as follows-

1. Shailendra

2. Himanshu Kholi

3. Amit Kumar Karn

4. Sunita

5. Swati

6. Mohd. Shabab Anis

7. Parul

These gang members identified and arrested. Gang was Police Police examined them and said they target people through online portal GroupNaukri.com and they promise people for job in India and abroad, mostly gulf countries, said Delhi police.

The gang has duped more than 200 job seekers all over India. Two people filed complain and were dumped Rs. 52,000 and 40,000 respectively.

DCP of West Delhi Urvija Goel added that group used to change their office in every three to fou months.

They used to collect data of job seekers from all over the India through their sources and attract them with different offers. Once the person got attracted over job then they ask them to transfer money and after receiving amount they block their numbers.

More than 100 people’s data have been found in laptops , now seized – Police said.
